How it works

1
Read both labels

The blue silhouette is the reference with its real measurement. The red one is yours to size. A height and a length can be compared, so check the dimension.

2
Resize the red one

Drag the knob, use the slider or the arrow keys until the proportions look right. Zoom changes the view, never your answer.

3
Lock in, then learn

The real size appears beside your guess with a score out of 100. Within 6 % is a perfect round. Five rounds make 500.

Is Nuclear submarine bigger than International Space Station?

In today's first round, Nuclear submarine has a recorded length of 170 m and International Space Station a recorded length of 109 m. The target is about 1.56× the reference. Put both in the same unit, estimate the ratio, and you have the comparison the game asks you to draw. All five answers for 2026-10-30.

Why a size-guessing game?

Most people can say whether a giraffe is taller than a bus, yet few can say by how much. Size It Up trains that second question. Every round hands you a reference you can picture, then asks for a ratio. After the reveal, your silhouette stays beside the correctly sized one, so a miss becomes a lesson you can see.

The themes exist because scale is easier to feel in a world you know. An anime fan has a sharper picture of Kaido than of a saltwater crocodile; a football fan knows a goal is taller than any striker. Guide: find an anchor · How the score works.

Frequently asked questions

How is the Size It Up score calculated?

Each visual round compares your estimate with the recorded target measurement. An estimate within 6 % earns 100 points; larger errors earn fewer, down to zero when the guess is about five times too big or too small. Five rounds add up to 500 points.

When does the daily game refresh?

A new daily game opens at midnight according to your browser's local time. Completed daily games stay complete; use an earlier archive date for repeatable practice.

Is Size It Up free, and do I need an account?

It is free to play without signing in or downloading an app. JavaScript is needed for the interactive board. Your progress, streaks and personal bests stay in this browser.

Where do the measurements come from?

Each object carries a single recorded measurement, a height, length, wingspan, diameter or depth, taken from public reference sources and rounded sensibly. Characters and idols use the figures published by their franchises or agencies.

Why does zooming not change my score?

Zooming only changes how the board is displayed. Both silhouettes scale together, so the ratio between them is unchanged. Only resizing the red target changes your answer.

Can I see feet and pounds instead of metres?

Yes. The m · kg button in the header switches every measurement on the site to feet, inches, pounds and miles, and it remembers your choice in this browser. Nothing recorded changes: only the way it is printed does, so a fact keeps the figure its source published and shows the imperial equivalent in brackets beside it.
